Our colleague, Aqib Hassan Ali Khan from the University of Burgos, had the privilege of participating in the 7th International Symposium on Environmental Biotechnology and Engineering, held in Marseille, France from May 22nd to May 26th, 2023.
During this esteemed event, Aqib presented both a poster and an oral presentation, focusing on the outcomes of a phytoremediation trial conducted by #UBU. The trial aimed to address the removal of heavy metals from polluted groundwater.
Aqib stated, "The study explored the influence of different retention times and plant varieties on phytoremediation efficiency and the reduction of metal-associated toxicity in contaminated groundwater."
