The 5th European Meeting of the International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology (ISMET) that was planned to place in Girona (Catalonia, Spain) from 14th to 16th September 2020 will be rescheduled for spring/summer 2021 in response to the pandemic of the COVID 19. This meeting will highlight the latest breakthroughs in microbial electrochemistry research and applications of bioelectrochemical systems, covering topics from fundamentals to scale-up processes, electro bioremediation, electro microbiology, resource recovery, environmental sustainability of METs and among others. To this effect, the event will address the different aspects and scientific disciplines needed for the study of microbial electrochemical technologies, such as electrochemistry, biology, environmental sciences, biotechnology, materials science, design or process engineering.
However, a virtual event will be organized this September 2020. Stay tuned for more information https://is-met.org/2020/04/03/urgent-notice-postponement-of-the-5th-asia-pacific-and-5th-european-international-society-of-microbial-electrochemistry-and-technology-conference-to-2021/.
